Airflow® polishing is an innovative cleaning system that blasts away the bacterial stains that build up gradually along your gum line.

After treatment, you will be left with a healthier-looking gum line and peace of mind that tartar and plaque are no longer threatening your gum health.

Introduction to Airflow®

Treatment time: 30 minutes.
Results: Removes deep plaque and tartar staining.
How it works: A mixture of compressed air, powder, and water.
Anaesthetic and drilling: No.
Suitable for: Patients with significant staining along their gum line and in-between their teeth/patients who wish to prevent the early signs of gum disease.

Who is Airflow® most suitable for?

Anyone can benefit from Airflow®, as it’s never disadvantageous to have harmful plaque and tartar removed from your gum line!

Whilst Airflow® is an add-on treatment during your oral hygiene scale and polish clean, we recommend it for every professional clean, especially if you:

Have not visited for a scale and polish for a while.
Are a smoker.
Are a heavy drinker.
Regularly enjoy sugary foods.
Have recently been having ongoing treatment for gum disease.

I can smile confidently today because I have received (and continue to receive) the best treatment at this clinic. The staff and practice are exceptional, professional, kind, friendly, encouraging, sensitive and understanding. I live in Acton so the clinic is local to where I live. I often make personal recommendations in conversations to others who are needing or wanting a dental practice or needing dental treatment. Without hesitation I confidently recommend this dental practice. My dental health and therefore my overall health and wellbeing have been enhanced by the treatment I receive at Lim Dental Practice!! Dr. Steve is an excellent dentist. He is very knowledgable, kind and considerate. He guided me through the whole process, recommended care and provided me with options. He stopped to make sure I was Okay, even though this was a difficult tooth to extract. I can’t emphasise enough how I recommend this dentist for his exceptional care and expertise.

Takes the time to explain things properly & offers honest advice. I have been coming to see Dr Lim and his wife since I was 12 years old I am 46 years old now so that speaks for itself . I was introduced to him by my grandad who passed 20 years ago. It's been almost two years since I met this lim dental office and I'm very happy to register in this office and get to know Dr. Patel who is very skilled, kind and patient with patients like me. I started to use Lim Dental practice last year, and I have to say, they are fantastic!Dr Patel is very accommodating, and managed to squeeze me in when I had terrible toothache. The treatment went well, and the overall experience was surprisingly pain free…would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone.Like a lot of people, I’m often nervous to go to a dentist, however I was made to feel at ease from start to finish. The reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable, as is the dental nurse. I also was attended to by the hygienist, who gave me excellent care and treatment. A great overall experience, hence the five stars!!
